About Copenhagen Business School
Copenhagen Business School (CBS) has around 16.000 students and an annual intake of around 1.000 international students. With this number of students as well as around 400 full-time researchers and around 500 administrative employees, CBS is one of the three largest business schools in Northern Europe.
The challenges
Each year CBS receives approximately 3.500 applications for admission to their graduate studies. Around 75% of the applications submitted are either incomplete or in other ways flawed, leading to non-productive rework and “tedious paper pushing” in the admissions office.

What Resultmaker did
Resultmaker implemented a fully automated application process on top of CBS’ Business Process Management Suite: Resultmaker Process Platform™.
The IT-enabled admission process eliminates the incomplete and/or flawed applications, by taking the applicants through a guided process of submitting an application that complies with CBS’ requirements for admission.
Once the application has been submitted, the solution automatically evaluates the application against i.e. student records, and passes it on to the admissions office for further processing, with a preliminary decision.
Based on the preliminary decision to either accept, reject or conditionally accept the application, the case workers in the admissions office not only saves valuable time by receiving complete and compliant applications, but also by not having to evaluate and control each and every application submitted in details.

What the future will bring
Based on Resultmaker Process Platform™, Copenhagen Business School has IT-enabled administrative processes and workflows in the areas of Graduate Admissions Office and International Summer University Program, and continues the strategic efforts of IT-enabling administrative processes and workflows in other functional areas of the organization, including Human Resources and People Management.
